Starbase Pad 2 testing and Tower 2 construction progress

April 5, 2026RGV Aerial Photography, VixXi, ChromeKiwi

LabPadre watchers tracked Starbase Pad 2 activity including clamp arm tests, deluge tests, top deck pressure testing, and visible Tower 2 build progress. The updates read like a live operations log for Starship ground systems readiness.

Here's a photo of Pad 2:
Clamp arm retract and extend tests are on-going at Pad-2 this evening.
This wasn't quite what I thought might happen. A rather short deluge test, with some water dribbling down the mount face prior to the *main* event.
Another higher pressure test of the top deck after a small much lower pressure test before this one.
