Joe Barnard, Booster 10, and Space Koala complain NASA’s live coverage missed key moments like booster separation, arguing independent streams did better and joking about the feed manager.
who was picking shots for the NASA stream during launch...
NASA should be extremely embarrassed at how much better Everyday Astronaut's coverage of the launch was compared to theirs.
Poor NASA feed manager spazzing out and forgetting we actually want to see things like booster separation.
Okay now show them stage sep for 8 milliseconds
Hey so I love and respect and admire everyone working on the Artemis program, but who was picking shots for the NASA stream during launch...
I’m sorry but the quality of the livestream on Artemis 2 is dog shit. Just use Starlink bros.
But SpaceX has spoiled me with the live cameras and drone shots. Let's be sure to get a Starlink on Artemis III...
You gotta realize the camera and data architecture decisions on SLS and Orion were probably originally made over a decade ago, and can't easily be changed to swap Starlink terminals and laser satellite connects for multiple 4k streams.
