Form workflow stacks for small teams, Tally to Airtable to Slack

April 4, 2026r/IndieHackers

In r/IndieHackers, small teams converge on lightweight form pipelines using Tally or custom React forms, pushing submissions into Sheets or Airtable with Slack notifications, while spam protection and toolchain fragmentation remain recurring pain points.

Mine’s pretty simple tbh. Usually build with Tally or a basic custom form send to Airtable or Sheets Slack email notification on submit.
Honestly the biggest pain point isn't any single step, it's that every form tool wants to own the whole chain and none of them do all of it well.
For small projects I usually keep it pretty simple: Form creation Mostly custom forms (React/Next.js or plain HTML)
