Justin Elze warns that syncing dotfiles to personal public repos can easily leak internal hostnames and other data that attackers can pivot from, a common enterprise hygiene issue when using GitHub.

I will never understand people syncing their dotfiles to their personal public repos.
It's extremely easy to leak internal hostnames and other simple data that anyone can pivot off of.
