Claude Code is so slow compared to Codex
On the one hand, codex is better at complex tasks.
Both Claude code and codex not explaining every line of code they write by default unless asked is a very strong & forward thinking decision choice
I really think it is doing all this honking, mulling, brewing, schlepping, elucidating, percolating, hard yakka, and other weird things it says it is doing while coding.
