March 27, 2026LabPadre Space, VixXi

LabPadre and VixXi document hands-on work at Starbase Pad-2, specifically removing alignment ball mounts and clamp components from the hold-down system, signaling ongoing iteration on the launch mount hardware.

Pad-2's launch mount is getting some attention this morning. The alignment ball mounts are being removed from the hold-down clamp system.
Five more ball mounts have been removed from LM-2.
Further investigation seems to show some of the clamp arms, and maybe an actual clamp or 2, being removed from LM-2.
